Data Scientist Quantitative Analyst On-site

Data Scientist / Quantitative Analyst Company: Sparkland Location: Dubai (on-site) Responsibilities: - Conduct trading-related data analysis, create dashboards, and generate analytical insights; - Manage the strategy rebalance framework and improve systematic decision-making processes; - Perform ad-hoc analysis for the trading team, test hypotheses, and conduct backtesting; - Evaluate, optimize, and develop existing trading strategies; - Work collaboratively with engineers and traders to improve access to clean, actionable data; - Build dashboards, reporting pipelines, and generate insights for the broader organization. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience; - Python - Comfortable writing production-grade analytical scripts; understands software engineering best practices; - SQL / ClickHouse - Able to query large datasets, build joins/aggregations, and tune performance; - Data Analysis & Visualization - Strong analytical mindset; able to summarize findings via reports or dashboards; Statistics & Probability - Ability to design and validate hypotheses using statistical methods; - English C1; - Completed higher education. Nice to have: - Yandex School of Data Analysis (ShAD) - Machine Learning (XGBoost, scikit-learn) - Experience with time-series data in trading/finance.
