We are seeking a Technical Lead/SRE Team Lead for a build-from-scratch setup. Initially, the role will be entirely hands-on, with responsibility for the production trading reliability. Later on, the role will involve building and leading an SRE/TradeOps team. 📽 About the project: An algorithmic trading company building its own ultra-low-latency HFT infrastructure for global financial markets. 👨‍💻 What you will do: – Own production reliability for trading binaries – Handle incident management, escalation and on-call duties – Build observability, monitoring and analytics – Perform deep Linux, systems and performance troubleshooting – Improve the platform in a complex technical environment – Over time, take ownership of team leadership and operational processes ❗️ We are looking for: – 6+ years of experience in SRE – Strong Unix/Linux skills with hands-on production debugging – Coding experience in Python or Go – Experience with high-load / mission-critical systems – Kubernetes / Docker / Grafana (nice to have) – English level B2+ 🏦 We offer: – On-site work format – Official employment – Full relocation support (including family) – Compensation €7,000–10,000 + bonus – A spacious and comfortable working environment in a coastal area of Cyprus, adapted for engineering work – A calm setting suitable for focused work, with access to facilities for rest and recovery – Pool, fitness areas and spaces for informal work – An active lifestyle outside of work, including sea activities, yachting, walking and hiking in scenic areas of the island DM me on Telegram: @Nikolai_Sourcer
