I’m looking for a Network Engineer to strengthen the international infrastructure team and support the network backbone of global trading systems. 🏦 About the company: A global proprietary trading organization building high-performance, low-latency systems for international markets. The infrastructure includes low-latency on-prem environments, optical and RF links, L1 switching / optical cross-connects, and multi-cloud routing. The focus is on speed, resilience and engineering-driven design. 👨‍💻 What you’ll do: – Design and operate backbone networks with strict latency requirements – Work with low-latency networking across on-prem and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Alibaba) – Design and optimize BGP routing, peering and border connectivity – Work with RF systems, optical links, L1 switching and international fiber routes – Build and evolve latency-critical connectivity for a global trading platform – Influence architecture, technology choices and vendor selection ❗️What matters: – 6+ years of experience in network engineering – Strong background in L1 / L2 / L3 networking, routing and switching – Hands-on experience with BGP (mandatory) – Experience with backbone / global routing and hybrid networks – Practical cloud networking experience in AWS / GCP / Alibaba – Understanding of low-latency distributed architectures – Confident Linux networking skills – English level B2+ 💻 Conditions & office (on-site): – Work format: on-site in Limassol 🇨🇾 or Amsterdam 🇳🇱 – Official employment – Full relocation support (including family) Office environment and benefits available in Limassol 🇨🇾: – Spacious and comfortable office in a coastal area of Cyprus, designed for engineering work – Calm environment suitable for focused work and recovery – Pool, fitness areas and spaces for informal work – Active lifestyle outside of work: sea activities, yachting, walking and hiking in scenic locations 🏄‍♂️ ✍️ Telegram: @Nikolai_Sourcer
